Although there has been a high demand for luxury homes in newly built residential skyscrapers all over Manhattan, 432 Park Avenue is the building that is grabbing all the attention. At the location where the Drake Hotel once stood, Harry Macklowe’s 432 Park Avenue will be the tallest and skinniest residential skyscraper in all of New York City. It will also be New York City’s third tallest building, right after the Empire State Building. At 84 stories high, this building will offer penthouses with amazing views of the city that have not been seen before.
This 1,396 foot building will feature a private restaurant for residents, a 75 foot pool, a resident’s garden, and on top of that, chauffeur service. There will also be private elevator landings, guest apartments, and heated bathrooms. With all these luxuries, it has been expected that sales will break the $3 billion mark as the whole building has already received $1 billion in contracts. Its expected completion date will be in 2015.
